Avoid Honeymoon Pitfalls - Get Proper Travel Identification
By our honeymoom expert, Diane of Honeymoon Under the Sun

I am often asked if the bride's documentation needs to be under her maiden or married name.  Generally, changing the bride's name requires proof of marriage, so it is wise to book all travel under your maiden name.  After the honeymoon you can proceed with official name change procedures if you are indeed changing your name.

* New Laws for passports when traveling by AIR to U.S. border  countries:

Beginning January 23, 2007, all  persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling by air  between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda will be required to present a valid passport, a U.S. Coast  Guard Merchant Mariner document, or an Alien Registration Card, Form I-551. The best advice: Obtain your passports as soon as possible, so you don't have to scramble later on when you have so much going with the wedding.
