With a background in graphic design, Theodore Mock opened his downtown Palo Alto photography studio in 1969. After so many years of experience, Ted’s work speaks for itself. After photographing a wedding he often is asked to become the family photographer for every event thereafter. To date, Ted has personally photographed over 1,600 weddings and 7,000 portraits. When asked what makes a good wedding photographer, he replied, "Good listening skills." By listening carefully he can ensure that his customers will get exactly what they want. Ted’s award-winning work and community involvement have made him one of the most popular photographers on the Peninsula. The week that I went to visit his studio, one of his photos was used for the front page of the Palo Alto Weekly.
The black & white engagement sitting included in all packages provides the perfect opportunity for Ted and his clients to get better acquainted. About a week before the wedding, a very thorough pre-event consultation is conducted to ensure that the couple's wishes are met. By the day of the event you can rest assured that none of the important moments will be missed.
One of Teeodore's specialties is restoring old photographs. Depending on the seriousness of the scratch or wrinkles, he can either save your pictures by hand or recreate it digitally.
