These husband and wife soul-mates translate their passion for each other into passionate wedding recordings. "Meg's essence of sweetness is spectacular," her husband says fondly. Loaded with 4 digital cameras and plenty of memory cards, Meg and Michael's full wedding coverage starts early and finishes late. They love their new state-of-the-art digital equipment, which they constantly update. It gives them the freedom to take hundreds of photographs, between 1,400 and 1,700 to be precise. Michael shoots the formal portraits while Meg arranges the groups, checks off the lists of required pictures, and captures the photos behind the scene. Their manner is easy-going, painlessly quick, and marked by a sense of fun. "We immerse ourselves in the wedding, following the event's tender moments, looking for intuitive depth and essence of the soul, and capturing the light within," Michael told me. Meg adds: "We feel privileged to be 'the family historians.' We save the pictures not only for the couple but also for their unborn children."

As a memento of the couple's love, Michael created The Engagement Experience. He will pack a picnic basket and take the couple to the beach, the city, or any place that is meaningful to them. During that excursion they connect, open up, and share their true feelings with the photographer. Another specialty is the DVD Story Book. It has about 200 pictures that are shown with an accompaniment of the couple's favorite music.

Besides being a great photographer, Michael is an expert in computer Photoshop. With this tool he can open eyes, remove wrinkles, convert color to black and white, etc. Through the new digital photography the images can be seamlessly perfected or creatively enhanced. Nevertheless, all their work is printed on traditional archival photo paper.

Since the first time I met Michael in 1990, I have liked his easy going way and have seen his work continuously grow. Meg's photograph is the one on the upper left corner of the home page. She helps me observe vendors at events and creates a quilt of digital pictures that shows the quality and the essence of the vendor's work.
