The Nob Hill Quartet, Trio, Duo, and Salon Orchestra members are some of the most experienced, classically-trained musicians in the Bay Area. They have been providing elegant music for weddings and receptions, corporate functions, parties, holiday celebrations, and other special events for over 18 years.
Their repertoire spans a wide range of classical, light classical, and popular music. Individually they have played with the San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose symphonies and participated in hundreds of chamber concerts, recording sessions, and musical-theater productions such as Les Miserables, Showboat, Evita, Miss Saigon, and Phantom of the Opera
Over the years, members have performed and recorded with a diverse group of celebrities including Josh Groban, Bjork, Sarah Brightman, Frank Sinatra, Smokey Robinson, Ray Charles, Tony Bennett, Linda Ronstadt, Country Joe MacDonald, Boz Scaggs, Van Morrison, and many others.
Movie soundtrack credits for the members include Star Wars, Predator II, Mimic, Spy Kids, The Game, One Fine Day, The Faculty, Sphere, Inspector Gadget, Bicentennial Man, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Hellboy, and The DaVinci Code – recorded at George Lucas’s Skywalker Ranch in Marin County.
A former Grammy award winner for "Best Local Studio Musician - String Category," Terry is principal cellist with the Midsummer Mozart Orchestra and played the entire San Francisco run of Phantom of the Opera. As a music coordinator Terry has many years of experience hiring fine musicians. She enjoys talking with prospective clients and helping them choose music for their wedding or special event.
