Isa Eaton, owner and designer of One Blossom, is passionate about her work. "The first time I saw letterpress invitations, it was love at first sight," Isa told me with a smile. Letterpress is a centuries-old printing technique that produces a distinct impression that you can see and feel. Each invitation is carefully printed by hand; no other printing technique can produce quite the same result.

Isa grew up in her parents' art studio in Santa Barbara and spent as many hours painting in the studio as hiking the Santa Barbara foothills. Her company is the combination of her love of nature and love of art and design. Having now lived in San Francisco for almost 10 years, Isa's botanical collections have acquired a modern edge that still captures the spirit of the outdoors. The clean lines of nature dominate her work, displayed in the landscape paintings throughout the house and in the colorful flowers that embellish her immaculate invitations.

Yet it isn't only the love of creativity and art that draws Isa to her work. It is the whole process: meeting with the couple, understanding her clients' vision for their wedding, and then utilizing her design skills to create an invitation that reflects their style in announcing one of the most meaningful days of their lives. Isa is full of ideas and loves to bring her down-to-earth style to the custom design process. She especially enjoys meeting with her clients in person, but works with couples all over the country via phone and email.

Clients can either choose from the Signature Botanical Collection or work with Isa on a custom design. All invitations feature an original illustration that starts out with a hand sketche—whether it's a beloved childhood flower, Spanish tile motif, custom monogram, skyline, or chapel silhouette.
