Sarah has had a life-long love affair with flowers. Since childhood, she has been awed by the beauty and chromatic nature of the flowers in her garden. Throughout college, she acquired basic design techniques by working part-time for a florist. Upon college graduation, her career path took off in glamorous Hollywood, where Sarah worked on movie scripts. In spite of the lure of the movie industry, she realized that her true passion and appreciation were for flowers. So Sarah followed her dreams and established Florabella Designs after taking floral classes and acting as an apprentice to other florists. She continues to be inspired by anything and everything to create divine arrangements.

In a charming lavender-fronted house on a quiet street, Sarah spends a lot of time with her clients to get a true understanding of what they envision. Sarah patiently helps clients who have a difficult time conveying what they like. With her they find their favorite colors and visualize floral designs. They look through Sarah's albums together while Sarah asks questions to narrow down what the clients want. For one bride who couldn't make up her mind, Sarah felt extremely confident and asked her to place her trust in Florabella. After the wedding, Sarah received a call from this bride, who could not stop thanking her and told her that she could not part with the exquisite bouquet throughout the entire wedding day.

Sarah's distinctive style is classical with a modern twist. She enjoys using shades of different colors to give definition to her arrangements. For one wedding, she used autumn-colored flowers and creatively decorated a wedding cake using lady apples, pumpkin trees and berries to complement the flowers. It produced a feeling of warmth, which was exactly what the bride had in mind.

With the client's best interest at heart, Sarah has developed a unique pricing structure for her services. She separates the costs for flowers and for her labor and shows them on the invoice. This has been much appreciated by clients.

Brides connect very well with Sarah's youth and abundance of energy. Being a newlywed herself, Sarah understands the overwhelming tasks that brides have when planning a wedding. She gently guides them in realizing their dreams, adding her talent as a designer to create beautiful works of art for her clients.
