Dancing Into A New Life
from Britta Maria Eugen, our wedding coordinator in Austria

Not only in Austria but throughout Europe the bride and groom are dancing a waltz as their first dance, most often to the tune of the "Vienna Waltz" or the "Slow Waltz." Traditionally, the bride and groom enter onto the dance floor while their guests stand and watch them dance into their new and happy life together. After a few minutes, the parents of the bride and groom join them, followed by the couple's siblings with their partners. Soon everyone is on the dance floor.

As not everyone is used to dancing classical standard dances, most of the couples are booking special wedding dance classes for one or two evenings in order to present themselves properly.

Have fun dancing!
