My friend Kristi told me about the good times she had planning the wedding together with her daughter. Of course there were tears involved, but mother and daughter became so much closer during the planning process.

Even though my son's wedding is in less than 4 months, there was not a hint of stress during our visit to his future in-laws on the East Coast to celebrate the holidays. While we were there, they took us to the beautiful country club where the wedding will take place. I was even invited to get a first-hand look at the wedding gown that just came in. (Our son will have to wait for the wedding.)
