Set the Tone with a Very Personal Invitation

Assemble and Save!

Custom designed invitations set the tone for a wedding in a mansion, in a winery, or at a golf course. It is even more special if you assemble them yourself, not to mention the money you can save that way.

Elli Bernacchi from in Print in Los Altos had helped me before assembling my own invitations for one of the BRO parties. I thought that also was a wonderful idea for wedding invitations. The two kits can be ordered from Elli, just send her an email, or call her at 650.948.1040, and pay by credit card over the phone.

Assembly instructions for #1 - Cornflower invitation with vellum overlay

(each shipment has assembly instructions; stuffing and address guide enclosed)

Attach all vellum with glue stick (included with order) at top and bottom of vellum.

Press between heavy flat objects (hardbound books are perfect) for ten minutes (all may be stacked together).

Cut ribbon 9" for knot, 18" for bow. Tie double knot (this gives it a fuller look) or bow with tails coming out the bottom. Attach knot where hole has been drilled in vellum (or on dot if not using vellum) with a Hot Glue Gun (May be purchased at any hardware, hobby, craft shop, or even most drug/variety stores). After attaching ribbon, trim ends at 45 degree angle.

Line inner envelope (if using inner and outer). Line outer if NOT using inner envelope.
Using glue stick provided, apply glue to top and sides only of lining paper. Insert liner to ½" below top edge of envelope. Press down and fold flap.
