For over 15 years the Cool Jerks have been putting on sizzling performances. This 9-piece band combines a cool rhythm section and a hair-raising horn section to accompany energized lead vocalists Dave Robinson and Julie Moreno. David, a professional singer for over 24 years, joined Cool Jerks in 1996. His electrifying vocals mixed with his funky dance moves are balanced by Julie’s impressive vocal range. Julie has been singing with the band since 1993.

The Cool Jerks’ energy is contagious. During a special event at the San Jose Fairmont, people couldn’t stay away from the dance floor. The group’s dance steps along with David Robinson joining the crowd on the dance floor, contributed to a truly dynamic show. Their high energy is matched by their musical and technical skill. Throughout the evening, a sound-check person was always present, calibrating the vocals against the musical solos. Each song was adjusted to enhance both the musicians and the vocalists. This brought out the sensational playing during the sax lead-in to Julie Moreno’s rendition of "Since I Fell for You" and maintained the thrill of the performance through her singing. This party band delivers the best of Motown, r&b, soul, rock ’n’ roll, and even a bit of Big Band and swing to round things out.
